Are you emotionally attached to electronics?
With all the time we spend with our electronics we soon become emotionally attached to them. So there comes a time in which you decide to name your electronic. Some wimp out and chose a unisex name, not wanting to offend it by picking the wrong gender of a name. The problem in this, is that some devices think that you did not pick the right name for them. If the wrong gender of a name is picked, which happens quite often then the device will rebel and give you tremendous problems such as error messages, restarting it self etc. In trying to solve this ancient dilemma I looked to the customer satisfaction survey by ChangeWave Research, to find that Apple was number one in consumer customer satisfaction. After analyzing color, model numbers, serial numbers, etc. The one concrete difference on a Apple consumer verses a non Apple consumer when naming the device, is that the Apple consumer will overall show more love and affection for the device verses the non Apple consumer seems to show more frustration and even hatred to the device. I have yet to come to a conclusion as to how Apple users seem to figural this dilemma out when naming their device. Research still in progress...
